Steps

A little over four months ago I was let go from my youth pastor position. There have only been a few days where I did not think about what happened. So why am I bothering to write about it now? Well, I have since relocated to Phoenix from San Diego. I am now in the process of visiting churches to find a new place to worship and be involved. In the past month I feel that God is calling me to be free from the anger and depression that I have been dealing with. Part of that process is using this blog to share what I have been going through. After searching on the Internet I realize that there are many pastors and volunteers have gone through situations where they have been hurt by the church. Perhaps I can not only help those who have been hurt, but possibly I can be used by God to help senior pastors and church leadership minimize the pain they have the ability to inflict.
